Calories in Starbucks Carrot Cake Loaf land at 390 per slice, and a friend of mine swears this is the “healthy” option in the bakery case because it has carrots in the name. It doesn’t hold up — with 18g of fat and 31g of sugar, it’s just as much a dessert as anything else on the shelf, and the cream cheese frosting is doing a lot of the heavy lifting on both fronts.
To be fair, it does have 3.3g of fiber, more than most of the sweet bakery items, and 4.4g of protein isn’t nothing. It’s vegetarian, but contains wheat, egg, and milk.
If you actually want fiber without the frosting, look at the Granola Pot Strawberry instead. For another loaf-style option, the Pistachio Latte Loaf and Red Velvet Loaf are both worth comparing side by side.
